How much savings can a person have while claiming benefits?
Heard it was up too 16k? Can a person still claim Housing Benefit etc while having savings and how much is it before it can be declared?
In my opinion, if any one has savings they should not be on benefits at all – totally playing the system if they are claiming but have the funds to pay for themselves. Just my opinion, having worked all my life and never claimed a thing it annoys me to think of others spending my taxes!
